A very interesting collection of online tools that sheds light on personal data collection and usage practices in the United States.

Also lots of fun is the letter (.PDF) from data collection company LocatePLUS in response to the question "What rights do I have regarding the handling of my personal info?" Their answer: none.

Very interesting information. The country id cards issued in Costa Rica have that 2D bar code. I can only imagine what useless info it has.........

I am a bit more concerned with the info stored in the magnetic stripes of the debit/credit cards, I would really like to know what my neteller atm card says but I guess I won't be finding that out soon

You can buy a rw cheaply that will access the info, but you'll need to be able to decode it for anything other than the basic info. FSV, the company that produces Neteller's card (last time I checked) has pretty good stuff on their strips.
